Multidisciplinarity is the key for real innovations. This holds especially for disruptive technologies like Blockchain. In order to enforce innovations in the market, it is not sufficient to command the technical aspects of Blockchain technologies. We also need skills in business administration, economics, legal aspects as well as industry specific knowledge and insights into processes.

The competence team of the BCCM comprises professors and employees of the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida who work in various departments Thus we make sure to address every topic of Blockcain in a multidisciplinary way. Our holisitic approach is the trademark of the Blockchain Competence Center Mittweida.

We consider the Blockchain technology as a multidimensional foundation for future processes in the economy and society. In those fields where we lack expertise, we integrate qualified key personnel of partners and foundation members.
