NEW: Master of Science Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT)

In September 2017 the BCCM organized the Blockchain Autumn School 2017 with great success. We want to build on this success and organize from March 5th till March 9th, 2018 the Blockchain Spring School 2018. This event aims to impart knowledge and skills in the field of Blockchain. We offer both lectures and practical courses (hands on) on computers.

Target group: Representatives of Consulting companies, corporate users, and students – from all over the world.

Prerequisites:No special Blockchain knowledge or skills necessary

Type: Lectures and practical courses on the computer, in german language

Location: University of Applied Sciences Mittweida, Saxony, Germany

Date: March 5th, 2018 – March 9th, 2018

Degree: Certificate of participation issued by the BCCM of the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida

Content of teaching

In addition to the general cryptographic basics (eg hash functions, -pointers, digital signatures, Merkle trees, …) and the blockchain basics (eg Bitcoin, Ethereum, Transactions, Scripts, Blocks, Proof-of-X, Dapps, …) at Spring School we focus on private and consortial blockchains (eg Hyperledger, Blockchain-as-a-Service, Tendermint, …) as well as the latest blockchain infrastructure developments (eg IOTA, hashgraph, …).
There will be parallel sessions in order to be able to offer both blockchain beginners and advanced students a very ambitious, individual program. The theory sessions are complemented by practical lectures by company representatives as well as our proven lectures and practical courses at the computer (hands-on) in our computer pools – individually supervised by competent tutors and our best students.

Rooms (1-2 lecture halls und 4 Computer-Pools)
