The Blockchain Competence Center Mittweida does not only stand for research and development. The BCCM is also a strong partner for studies, education and training in the field of Blockchain. Since 2017, the blockchain community has been meeting for a lot of events at the BCCM, supra-regional business partners are networking and realizing exciting projects together. We also regularly support the Blockchain Meetup Saxony.
Study
Since 2018, the Master Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) is offered. Further information on the MA program can be found here.
In the Bachelor’s program “IT Forensics/Cybercrime”, module 7630 “Digital Assets and Values” is offered by us annually to teach the basics of blockchain technology. You can find more information about the BA program here.

Education and training
Since 2017, the focus of the Blockchain School (Blockchain Spring School and Blockchain Autumn School) has been on education and training as well as building a blockchain community.
