Following on the success of the Blockchain Autumn School in September 2017, the Blockchain Competence Center Mittweida (BCCM) of the University of Mittweida organized from March 5th until March 9th 2018 the Blockchain Spring School 2018. In comparison to the Autumn School last year, the number of participants was again increased significantly to a total of 164. Among the participants were not only students (mainly from the field of computer science and economics), but also company representatives who came from all over Germany or even from Austria for the event. In addition to numerous lectures by members of the BCCM and external speakers, there were once again four internships in which the participants were able to implement the theoretical knowledge directly on the PC. As in the previous year, the participants were individually cared for by tutors and student assistants of the BCCM during these hands-on sessions.
