Welcome,

to the 1st Mittweida Blockchain Ideas Competition. We ask you for your innovative ideas and disruptive concepts addressing the blockchain technology and its applications.

There are no boundaries regarding the scope of application. Some examples you can find here. From life sciences to finance, from mobile app to machine control everything is possible. There are only two requirements. The use case must not have been implemented yet and it has to profit significantly from the use of blockchain technology.


There are 800€ (1st place 500€, 2nd place 200€, 3rd place 100€) of prize money for the best contributions sponsored by our partner

Procedure

To participate in the 1st Mittweida Blockchain Ideas Competition you’ll have to fill out this Application Form (pdf) describing your idea and send it by email to bccm [at] hs-mittweida [dot] de or by fax to +49 3727 58 21 288. Submission deadline is September, 20th 2017. We will select up to 10 of the best contributions and invite them to presenting their ideas in front of a jury at the Blockchain Autumn School 2017 in Mittweida, Germany on September, 22th 2017 at 10:00am. You’ll get 5 to 10 minutes time to explain your idea and answer questions from the jury. Following the presentations the jury will select the winning ideas and grant the prizes.

Conditions

The intellectual property rights of the submitted ideas and use cases shall remain entirely with the submitter.

By submitting an idea to the 1st Mittweida Blockchain Ideas Competition the participant confirm that he/she created all of the submitted informations and results him-/herself and that he/she don’t violate any intellectual property rights of third parties. The participant is fully responsible for his/her submitted ideas and liable for any claims by third parties.

The participants of the Blockchain Autumn School 2017 get in touch with the participants of the 1st Mittweida Blockchain ideas competition.

The execution of the 1. Mittweida Blockchain Ideas Competition is the responsibility of the BCCM. The Recourse to the courts is not permitted.
